I once tried to make a living at painting pet portraits. I got along fine with the pets. It was discovering that their humans wanted someone to talk to that made me crazy.  That tells you a lot about me.  This little guy was a sweetie.

I think I might post a painting a day.( I do some complaining... )

Going to take a writing break

Hello!

I have decided that I have to start to work on arrangements for G.D.'s upcoming 90th b'day celebration. There are lots of announcements to send out and reservations and travel arrangements etc.

Also, I have decided to focus on the bits and pieces of the two books I have written in the last twenty years, whenever I feel the need to write. I lost both of them when I lost my flash drive except for some pages here and there. It totally bummed me out but so much was getting me down at the time I really had no response.

So now I do. I will try to rewrite them. I think my writing skills have improved since I started. I do know the basics for readability if I'm not to lazy to push through my lack of natural ability. John Irving is dyslexic and he has written a few really good books so why not me?

I will continue to moan and groan here and as I said in the previous post, maybe post a pic of a painting now and then, oh an maybe of my quilting, if I get a camera.
