1. Leftover roasted chicken
2. Roasted cauliflower, Well, last night I made a roast chicken and roasted cauliflower.  I can't believe how lousey the Joy of Cooking is when it comes to estimated times for meat.  I ALWAYS follow it and nothing is ever done.  The other thing is a "shallow roasting pan" is not any good unless you want to have smoke coming out of your oven.  This is why I always buy the preroast chickens from the store... Reheat! Brilliant!

3. Leftover savoury meat pie with apples. This is G.D.'s favourite meal. I had a headache and Friday she got really ratty with me and I was not terribly sympathetic. So all was forgotten when I made her favorite meal.
4. Milk. G.D. drinks gallons. Me not so much although lately I have had warm milk at bed because I have been having lots of insomnia to go with the headache
5. Various veg in different stages from fresh to rotten
6. Condiments of every variety you can imagine. When the kids were younger and we were really poor they never got ketchup and special sauces, not necessary and expensive. When we moved here I promised them every condiment they wanted. Included in them is Daughter and N.S.'s own hot sauce which was their gift to the guest at their recent wedding. Homemade!
7. Leftover mac and cheese which really should go in the composter.
8. A bin for meat waste that goes in our municipal compost. The veg stuff goes in the garden composter until I get lazy and the weather gets gross/cold and I can't be bothered walking out to the garden.
9. A pitcher of water. Somebody told me that the water from the tap loses it's chlorine to the air if you just let it sit for a while. Sometimes I put a filter in it but often just keep it in the fridge. It also means for those who like it really cold you don't have to run the tap for a long time.
10. Pickles. Are they condiments? I love pickles. I am not supposed to have to much acid in my diet but they are a treat. Pickled cucumbers, peppers, ginger, onions, any sort, oh and olives! I love olives!
11. Cheese, cheddar for G.D. and mozzarella for me.
12. Butter. I like it. I spread it thin. Margarine for G.D. cause that's what she likes.
13. Three eggs. I need to get more on Tuesday.
14. I've got some leftover tortellini too. I should have had that for lunch...

59155_10151593327412714_650971691_nI am slowly getting pictures of the wedding thanks to posts on Facebook. I'm wondering if she got a kick-back from Steam Whistle as every picture has her holding a beer.

That is Elianna on the left.  She played stand-in-daughter for me when I thought I would die of missing her the year she was working in Australia. Aren't they both just so beautiful?
