Feb. 22nd, 2014 07:56 am I am pleased to inform you that your piece, All She Needed, has been accepted for inclusion in our anthology, Something’s Brewing. If you have not already provided one, please forward me your most recent bio by Friday, March 7, 2014. You will be receiving a free electronic copy of the anthology. In addition, print copies will be available for purchase. I will contact you again when both become available.
I did send her a bio. It went like this:
Bio:
Rio Murphy lives in a large metropolis and is a successful artist. Along the way, to support herself, she has had many jobs, including reception and managing a coffee shop. She loves that first cup of coffee in the morning when everything is quiet and she can get some writing done. By the way, she has never shot anyone, not ever, and she doesn't even own a gun.
Wadday think? The reference to the gun thing is because it's part of the story, the O'Henry twist at the end. You will just have to read the thing when it gets published!
