Walking Dead, The
Feb. 17th, 2014 08:58 amOkay, I realized last night that I really don't want anything bad to happen anymore to characters I have gotten to really care about.
I really, really, really don't. I think I want a show where they sit around and smile and knit body armour for post apocalyptic shopping excursions, where there might be the occasional zombie decapitation required in the parking lot (but hey, is it that different from real life?) but they often find great deals in, for instance, mega cans of pudding.

Walking Dead: Carol
Mar. 14th, 2013 03:16 pmAs an former battered wife, she is one character whose life got better after the zombie apocalypse.
I did this drawing this morning, free hand from a the tiny screen on my digital camera with a still I took from the t.v. I am trying to keep some drawing chops at least. I like her face and as a "middle-aged" woman I think she is rather beautiful.
In this shot she is looking at Daryl. He is is someone who is still dealing with a toxic family member (not everybody who should gets eaten by zombies). He is possibly her lover, and definately a real friend and confidant. I don't think she had many people like that in her life before.
